Local Activities

Windmill Farm Bed & Breakfast and RV Park is located in Tyler County.  We are best known as being in the middle of the Big Thicket. In other words, mother nature is at you fingertips.  You can go walk the trails or canoe the creeks of the Big Thicket National Preserve.

Woodville offers several local attractions.  The Heritage Village provides great history to the area.  You can go visit the Emporium for the Arts for some local talent.  During the fall we have the Tyler County Fair and in the fall is the Dogwood festival.

Visit the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce also for my activities in our area.

Local Resturaunts

Tyler County has several options to choose from when it comes to cuisine.  In Warren, which is minutes from our location is the BBQ Pit.  It is a staple for those in Warren.  In Hillister, you have the Hitching Post!  Their burgers and catfish are wonderful.  If you choose to go to the Heritage Village, you can't leave without trying the Picket House.  Their Chicken is amazing!  If mexican food is what you are looking for try Senior Toros in Woodville!

For more local places to eat check out the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce.
